Me, Myself, and I

"It's not about how tall you are, and it's not about talent.
It's about how much you want it,
and how long you are willing to work for it."

This is and always will be my favorite quote. I grew up an underdog, and I always will be an underdog. I am not gifted in much. I'm definitely far from a great athlete, although I workout a good bit and I'm just starting to run again like I used to in the old days. My whole life the odds have been against me. I came out of high school with a 2.4 GPA, and most did not think I had what it takes to go to college, much less stay in college. Yet, here I am, a Junior at USC. Now, the road has been far from smooth, but I've scratched and clawed and made it this far.

I made this web page to possibly reach somebody out there, not just for a school project. I want to reach somebody out there that's maybe struggling right now, and may not have achieved yet. I want to tell them you are not alone. But, if you keep working at it, you will stand at the top someday stronger than ever and look back and say "It was worth it." I also made this web page because everything on it has inspired me. Anything from the movie Rocky IV to my girlfriend. They are all inspirations to me, and they are all my favorite things in this world. I believe that you come to a point in your life where you find yourself, and I have done that. Not everybody finds themselves, which is the cruel reality of this world. I find myself to be very lucky that I can look at the world in a different view than most others. If you laugh, cry, and love, now that is a complete day, and I do all of them. I may not cry everyday, but I always think of something that moves me. Whether it's the simplest thing or something big, I always make sure that I do something everyday that I'll never forget, because you should not live life any other way.

I want to leave you with one final piece of advice: never regret. Nobody in this life is perfect, and do not believe anybody that tries to tell you any differently. You are human, so naturally you are going to make mistakes. Also live life with reckless abandon. You only have one, so do not hold back. Worrying is a waste of time, and it only causes grief. But always remember: cry, laugh, and love.
